XPrime: Problem-Solving Adhesion Primer

About the
XPrime

WRX Trade XPrime is a problem-solving, water-based acrylic adhesion primer engineered to grip difficult, mixed or previously coated substrates. It bonds to old paints and varnish as well as iron, steel, aluminium, copper, zinc, galvanised steel, rigid PVC, glass, ceramic, wood, brick and plaster, creating a uniform, paint-ready surface.

It can be applied over areas previously finished with solvent-based paints and used as a bridging coat, after which you can over-coat with any architectural water- or solvent-based topcoat. The formula also locks in many common stains (such as graffiti, asphalt, grease, lipstick and smoke) and traps tannins from cedar and redwood to help prevent bleed-through. Suitable for both interior and exterior projects, XPrime streamlines preparation when your job spans multiple surface types.
